This is a very clean Jetta TDI! Powered by the legendary 1.9L TDI Turbo Diesel Engine and backed by 5-Speed Manual Transmission, this car is a joy to drive. There aren't any leaks or strange noises. The engine runs perfect and the transmission shifts perfect. The clutch is in excellent condition. This car has no issues whatsoever.
I just had this car totally checked out and serviced by a local TDI specialist so it has a new full timing belt kit (with water pump, belt, and tensioners), new oil change (with the proper synthetic oil from VW), new fuel filter, new serpentine belt tensioner, and a few other little preventative maintenance items. Recent maintenance also includes a brand new turbocharger. I also just had brand new Continental tires mounted and computer balanced, as well as a 4-wheel alignment done. I have put nearly 1,000 miles on this car and it has performed flawlessly and has acheived a little over 50 MPG! This car has been adult owned right here in north Texas since new and looks to have always been meticulously maintained and cared for.
The body of this car is very clean, and since it's never been around any snow, there isn't any rust or corrosion on the body, undercarriage or anywhere else. If you look really close you may find a few tiny rock chips, door dings and tiny scratches but this car really looks very good. There are a couple tiny rock chips in the windshield (no cracks), so if the buyer prefers I can have a brand new OEM-grade windshield installed for $150.
Moving to the interior, you'll find even more evidence of how well this car has been cared for. All the upholstery looks great with no tears or stains anywhere. It is extremely clean and has not ever been smoked in.
Everything on this car works perfectly and it is extremely clean and well kept. The buyer will be extremely pleased with the condition of this car. I have the clean and clear title in hand. This car is 100% good to go in every way and is ready to drive anywhere. Fly in and drive it home - I'll even bring it to you at the airport!

Our History: Short Motor Company was founded by my Dad, Leo Short, in 1990 after he was a Snap-On Tool dealer for 9 years. He was guided in starting his business by his uncle, John Short, who owned several new and used car dealerships throughout Texas over the course of more than 30 years in the business. I started working for my Dad at age 16, finished high school, and began my college career toward my Associates Degree in Automotive Marketing and Management from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, TX. I married my wonderful wife Rachel in 2007 and we welcomed a baby boy to our family in February 2011 - and we're now expecting baby #2 in November 2012! My Dad and I continue to work together: he sells vehicles strictly from his storefront just as he has done from the same location since 1989, while I have chosen to cater to the online community. Since 1989 our family business has been a member in good standing with the Fort Worth Independent Auto Dealers Association, the Texas Independent Auto Dealers Association, and the National Independent Auto Dealers Assocation.
When I was 12 years old, my Grandpa gave me a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that had been sitting in a field since the 1970's. It was my dream car, but once I started looking to buy parts for it and realized that wasn't going to happen with my [non-existent] budget, I sold it for $1,300. By the time I graduated High School at age 17, I had bought and sold over 30 cars. For my High School yearbook, they made up a new "Most Likely To Be..." category for me - I was "Most Likely To Become President Of Ford Motor Company". When I joined eBay in 1999 I was buying and selling rare Hot Wheels toy cars. Now since 2006 I've been selling pre-owned cars and trucks full-time on eBay and specializing in diesels. Since day one, I've maintained 100% positive feedback with over 300 transactions.
