THIS TRUCK IS PRICED TO SELL AND THE PRICE IS FIRM!
This is an extremely clean Ford F-250 with some very nice accessories! Powered by the legendary Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine, this is one tough truck with a very strong engine and transmission. The engine runs perfect and doesn't smoke. It also does not have any leaks at all. The transmission shifts perfect. This truck has been in Texas and locally owned since new, and has been very well taken care of as you can tell by viewing the pictures. This was not a work truck and it has not ever towed anything heavy. There hasn't ever been a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch installed.
The original owner is a friend of a friend of mine and he has maintained this truck phenomenally since new. It has always had Amsoil synthetic fluids from front to back. Last Fall, he had the Oil Cooler, EGR Cooler, and EGR Valve all replaced as preventative maintenance. This is a strong running truck that hasn't ever had any chips or programmers that I'm aware of. The only engine modifications are a high-flow exhaust and air intake system. It also drives perfect - nice and tight with no vibrations, no slop in the steering, no pulling to one side, and no rattles. Cruises down the highway nice and smooth.
The body of this truck is very clean, and there isn't any rust or corrosion on the body, undercarriage or anywhere else. The paint looks great! This truck has been pampered since new and it shows. There are a few very light surface scratches and a few very light dings, but as you can see, this truck shows extremely well. It has several additions like the 2 inch front leveling kit, fender flares, and custom wheels and tires that really make it stand out.
Moving to the interior, you'll find even more evidence of how well this truck has been cared for. There aren't any cracks in the dash. The leather and upholstery are all original and look great, showing virtually no wear at all. The leather looks perfect and is not dried out or cracked. It is extremely clean and has not ever been smoked in.
This truck drives very well. Everything works great. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. The buyer will be very pleased with the condition of this truck. It is 100% rust-free and ready to drive anywhere. Fly in and drive it home - I'll even bring it to you at the airport!
**SPECIAL OFFER** The tires on this truck are 315/70/17 BFGoodrich All-Terrains and they do have a solid 8,000 miles or so left in them. However, since the buyer will probably be looking to replace them before too long, I'm offering the buyer of this truck the option of having a brand new set of tires of their choice mounted and balanced before they take delivery of it. I don't think you'll find a better deal since these prices are my wholesale cost on these tires. Our History: Short Motor Company was founded by my Dad, Leo Short, in 1990 after he was a Snap-On Tool dealer for 9 years. He was guided in starting his business by his uncle, John Short, who owned several new and used car dealerships throughout Texas over the course of more than 30 years in the business. I started working for my Dad at age 16, finished high school, and began my college career toward my Associates Degree in Automotive Marketing and Management from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, TX. I married my wonderful wife Rachel in 2007 and we welcomed a baby boy to our family in February 2011 - and we're now expecting baby #2 in November 2012! My Dad and I continue to work together: he sells vehicles strictly from his storefront just as he has done from the same location since 1989, while I have chosen to cater to the online community. Since 1989 our family business has been a member in good standing with the Fort Worth Independent Auto Dealers Association, the Texas Independent Auto Dealers Association, and the National Independent Auto Dealers Assocation.
When I was 12 years old, my Grandpa gave me a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that had been sitting in a field since the 1970's. It was my dream car, but once I started looking to buy parts for it and realized that wasn't going to happen with my [non-existent] budget, I sold it for $1,300. By the time I graduated High School at age 17, I had bought and sold over 30 cars. For my High School yearbook, they made up a new "Most Likely To Be..." category for me - I was "Most Likely To Become President Of Ford Motor Company". When I joined eBay in 1999 I was buying and selling rare Hot Wheels toy cars. Now since 2006 I've been selling pre-owned cars and trucks full-time on eBay and specializing in diesels. Since day one, I've maintained 100% positive feedback with over 300 transactions.
